At the Rockford F.I.R.E., our mission is to offer a Christ-honoring competitive athletic experience for homeschoolers that nurtures growth in ability, confidence, and character. Through practices, games, and shared challenges, athletes learn the value of teamwork, trust, and genuine fellowship with their teammates. While we strive to compete well, we continually remind our athletes that success is not defined by the scoreboard. What matters most is the attitude they bring, the respect they show, and the example they set. Our hope is that in every moment of competition, others will see Christ reflected in the way our athletes play, encourage one another, and carry themselves both on and off the court.

2026 F.I.R.E. Girls' Volleyball Tryouts

Dates: July 13 & July 21 — 5:30–7:30 PM

Location: UW Sports Factory — 305 S Madison St, Rockford, IL 61104

We're excited to welcome back returning players and connect with new athletes as well. Our program is open to athletes who are at least 51% homeschooled and agree to our Statement of Faith. As a Christ-centered, family-driven program, we rely on parent volunteers to help support operations throughout the season.

2026-2027 F.I.R.E. Boys' Basketball 

All athletes (returning or new) who are interested in playing for the Rockford F.I.R.E. boys’ basketball team for the 2026–2027 season must sign up here. Please Note: this is not the official season registration but helps us gauge interest and plan next steps. Official registration will take place following coaching evaluations.

Additional evaluations (tryouts) may be scheduled depending on the level of interest and at the discretion of the coaches.
